Botox

Botox is a purified protein, Botulinum Toxin Type A, works by blocking nerve impulses that induce excessive muscle contraction. The effect is temporary and lasts three to six months, depending on the individual patient and indication.

Botox injection in aesthetic medicine, is used to improve moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), forehead lines and crows’ feet. Botox is also used for treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis and some other problems.

After the Botox treatment, you can continue all normal activities. The result can be seen in two days with the full result in about 10 days.

There are some side effects such as headache, tenderness at the injection site, redness, bruising and rare, ptosis. All side effects are transient and will disappear without any treatment.

Botox is a safe way for treatment of wrinkles.
